At Sir Max' the tailored clothes (suits, jackets, trousers, coats and combinations) can be subdivided in two categories:

Here the fitting collection designed by Arthur is taken as starting-point. This fitting collection is based on a Western-European fit, that is transformed to an Italian and English cut. With this method, the right size is set by Arthur, continued by adjusting the measurements to those of the client. Next, the piece is entirely handmade in one of the best workshops at the wish of the client, and specifications of Arthur. The client can choose for extra options.

Savile Row, London, for the experts a direct link to bespoke clothing. This is what Sir Max offers in it's bespoke service: only made to measure clothing according to the highest handmade finish. All details are discussed with the client, purpose of the clothing, choice of material, possible combinations, lining, inside, shoulder details etc.. After this, Arthur will make an exclusive design for the client, of which he draws a measured pattern. The piece will first be produced in a cotton fitting in one of the best workshops in the world. Afterwards, several fitting sessions will follow to perfect the pattern even further. Not before Arthur is entirely content with the pattern, the piece will be produced in the final materials, chosen by the client.

Beside this traditional Italian and English method, at Sir Max' it is also possible to design at 'couture'-base. In general, the difference is that one can deviate from the traditional approach of the bespoke service. One can think of deviating designs and colours for different purposes and a wider choice of materials, for example clothing in suede, leather, fur or combinations of these. In either category of tailored clothing "quality" and "service" are always key words. Many combinations are possible, depending on the occasion. Naturally the materials are of the highest quality as well.

Arthur has worked for and with several national and international designers. Arthur started as fur- and leatherprocessor and produces the patterns of all his designs himself.
